Liguria Jumping offers an all-inclusive Elite Training Program
For riders who aim to reach the top echelons of the sport under the guidance of head coach Richard Wright, a 5* showjumping coach.
Program
This program includes full horse and rider management and intensive training sessions run by Richard.
- Daily lessons
- Personal training sessions including a specialist performance coach
- Enhanced grooming services and (if required) facilitating a seamless school / college education.


Facilities
A brand-new luxury equestrian facility located in Camporosso (only 35 minutes from Monaco) provides state-of-the-art infrastructure for both horses and riders: primarily designed to develop & maintain top class showjumpers.
With 20 boxes and over 5,000 m2 of indoor & outdoor training space for horses plus gym / clubhouse for riders, the equestrian centre welcomes a select group of riders to excel at the exciting and highly competitive sport of showjumping.
The Coaches

Richard Wright
Richard Wright is a highly experienced UK qualified showjumping coach who has over 30 years of experience in coaching and producing showjumping horses.
Most recently Richard ran a stud in the UK producing future showjumpers and is an expert in equine condition & care.
Richard is the day-to-day manager of the Liguria Jumping equestrian facility which includes on-site daily coaching and full competition support .

Fitness: Physical & Mental
With a gym specifically adapted for riding and a dedicated personal trainer on hand to enhance Elite Riders strength and endurance, our fitness program is individually designed to ensure both rider and horse are in a better physical condition to win and remain injury-free.
Nurturing mental well-being is at the core of our training program – a strong and healthy mental state forms the foundation of all world class showjumpers. Elite Riders will receive expert and timely mind-coaching to improve and optimise motivation, work ethic and a winning spirit.
Competitions
The road to top level success begins long before the bell rings in the arena. The Coaches will fine-tune your riding abilities that align with your competition schedule, ensuring that you and your horse arrive at each event at your physical and mental peak.
Programme Details
Intensive showjumping skills training regime including:
- Daily lessons* plus on-site competition coaching
- Individualised ‘continuous improvement’ training and competition prep and follow-up
- Integrated Competition Planning including scheduling, competition registration & transport management
Management services
Full Horse Management service including managing passports, vaccinations, farrier, organising transport paperwork and vet planning/management
- Daily Lunging, Riding, Paddock or Walker *
- Box, shavings or straw & daily cleaning
- Hay & Feed 3 times daily
Full horse-care & grooming services
- Daily Grooming (min 30min)
- Horse clipping as required
- Pre & post riding groom & preparation
- Washing blankets, numnahs etc
- Full access to arenas & horse facilities
- Clubhouse & gym access
- Routine Vet, Dental, Farrier and osteo services including FISE mandated vaccines
** Excludes Mondays when the facility is close
The Fine Print: Qualification for the Elite Program will be assessed by the Coaches in their sole discretion. Services exclude rider accommodation, travel, meals and all exceptional third-party horse-related expenses (i.e. non basic vet fees, farrier costs etc), non-routine medical-related costs, transport related costs, specialist food or supplements for horses, food or drinks consumed in the clubhouse, and competition fees etc. Horse transport and competition grooming may be coordinated as an extra service at additional cost. Services & pricing to be adjusted in good faith for riders who have their own grooms. For all information concerning costs please contact us below, the Elite Program is for a minimum period of six months and includes an industry-standard minimum trading fee for horses acquired during the program, to protect against riders buying horses which, in the opinion of the Coaches, may be unsuitable for the program. No smoking on the premises & only well-behaved dogs on leads allowed. Riding facilities closed on Mondays & after 7pm daily. No external trainers / coaches / riders to the facilities. The only external trainers permitted to give lessons / ride horses will be specialists providing bespoke training sessions (clinics) & organised by Liguria Jumping. All riders shall be registered with the Italian FISE & have personal medical coverage & public liability insurance. Helmets are always compulsory when riding, airbags for any jumps above 130cm. Fees may be reduced for clients on extended absence etc.
